Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the GreaseNote mobile application (the "App") operated by Severe Studios LLC ("we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Use of the App

GreaseNote is a vehicle maintenance tracking application that allows you to log and manage service records for your vehicles. The App is provided for personal, non-commercial use.

You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Subscriptions and Purchases

GreaseNote offers a free tier with limited features and a paid "Pro" subscription with additional capabilities. Subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis through Apple's App Store.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies.

All pricing is subject to change. We will not reduce the features available to active subscribers during their current billing period without notice.

3. Free Tier Limitations

The free tier of GreaseNote is limited to one vehicle and ten service logs per vehicle. To access additional vehicles and unlimited service logs, a Pro subscription is required.

4. Intellectual Property

The App and all of its content, features, and functionality are owned by Severe Studios LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App.

5. User Data

You retain ownership of all data you enter into the App. We do not claim any rights to your vehicle or service maintenance data. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how your data is handled.

6. iCloud Sync

The App may offer iCloud sync functionality. By enabling this feature, your data will be stored in your personal iCloud account subject to Apple's terms and conditions. We are not responsible for any data loss or issues arising from Apple's iCloud service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any maintenance reminders, mileage calculations, or other information provided by the App.

GreaseNote is not a substitute for professional vehicle maintenance advice. Always consult a qualified mechanic for vehicle maintenance decisions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Severe Studios LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or subscription in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Severe Studios LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the State of Texas.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
